Biden-Harris Administration Invests in Watershed Infrastructure to Help Communities Recover from, Prepare for Natural Disasters as Part of Investing in America Agenda
The Biden-Harris Administration today announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is making investments, including from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, in watershed infrastructure to help communities recover from and prepare for natural disasters.
EWP Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) funding 2023
The 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act provided $925 million total for EWP emergency projects, including the 28 receiving funding now.
Watershed Programs - Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Funding 2022-2023
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, also known as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) invested $918 million in Watershed Program projects that addressed new, ongoing, emergent, and relief to all communities to address watershed resource concerns.
